Severe Thunderstorm Watch is now out for portions of South Dakota
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 5:00 AM MDT.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the following counties:
AURORA, BEADLE, BENNETT, BRULE, BUFFALO, CHARLES MIX, CLARK, CODINGTON, DAVISON, DAY, DEUEL, DOUGLAS, GRANT, GREGORY, HAMLIN, HAND, HUGHES, HYDE, JERAULD, JONES, KINGSBURY, LYMAN, MELLETTE, MINER, SANBORN, SPINK, TODD, TRIPP
Until 5:00 AM MDT (6:00 AM CDT)
The threat for heavy wind, large hail, and vivid lightning will be on the increase as we go into the overnight hours.
