Senator Thune touring Western South Dakota

WALL, S.D. — Senator John Thune spent much of the day traveling across the western side of the state Tuesday, speaking with people and listening to their concerns.

Sen. Thune started the morning with a town hall session at the community center in Wall. Following the session, he had a chance to tour the Wall Meat Processing facility to take stock of what local businesses need.

“[I was] excited to take a look at that, visit with the owners,” Thune said. “Find out kind of what their needs are and let them know we want to make it easier, less expensive and less difficult to do business here.”

After visiting Wall Thune hit the road to attend a high school assembly in Kadoka and finished the day with another town hall meeting at the Bad River Senior Center in Philip.
