Search ongoing for attempted casino robber

Police are on the lookout for a man accused of attempted robbery.

Rapid City officers responded to the East North Casino just around 1:45 a.m. on August 2. A casino employee says a man came inside to ask for a beer but was not served due to his lack of identification. The employee says the man left the building, only to return minutes later with a knife, demanding money. The employee did not comply.

Police were not able to locate the man, but he is described by witnesses as a clean-shaven Native American male in his mid to late 20’s, 6’0”, wearing a black baseball hat, black t-shirt, and blue shorts. Witnesses say he also had the letters 'FOE' tattooed on the right side of his neck.
