SDDOH: 46 total new COVID-19 cases, six deaths reported statewide
PIERRE, S.D. — The South Dakota Department of Health’s daily COVID-19 update showed 46 new confirmed and probable cases in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed and probable cases to 236,648.
Six new deaths were reported, bringing the state’s death toll to 2,859.
10 total confirmed and probable cases were reported West River: eight in Pennington County, four in Meade County, three in Lawrence County and one each in Butte, Jackson, Stanley and Todd Counties.
In South Dakota, 2,919 cases are considered active, that number is down from 3,016 on Friday.
An additional 137 people have recovered from the virus, which puts the total number of recoveries at 230,870.
Data are provisional and subject to change. Data are updated daily (Monday – Friday) by about 12:00 p.m. and include cases reported through 1:00 p.m. the previous day. Data from Saturday and Sunday will be included in Tuesday’s update.
