SD DOH: 92 total new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths reported

PIERRE, S.D. — On Monday, the South Dakota Department of Health reported 74 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 103,605.

18 of the 92 total cases are considered as new probable cases.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the state death toll at 1,933.

Six confirmed cases were reported West River: five in Pennington County and one in Gregory County.

No new probable case was reported West River.

In South Dakota, 2,393 cases are considered active, that number is down from 2,412 on Sunday.

An additional 111 people have recovered from the virus, which puts the total number of recoveries at 113,010.

91 people are currently hospitalized; a total of 6,971 have been hospitalized since the pandemic began.
