SD DOH: 486 total new COVID-19 cases, six deaths reported
Six new deaths were reported, bringing the state death toll to 2,303.
96 confirmed cases were reported West River: 62 in Pennington County, eight in Butte County, five each in Custer and Fall River Counties, three each in Perkins, Corson, Dewey, and Lyman Counties, two in Gregory County, and one each in Jackson and Todd Counties.
15 probable cases were reported West River: four in Pennington County, two each in Dewey, Custer, Jackson, and Bennett Counties, and one each in Perkins, Haakon, and Lyman Counties.
In South Dakota, 6,775 cases are considered active, that number is up from 6,663 on Wednesday.
An additional 368 people have recovered from the virus, which puts the total number of recoveries at 152,882.
