SD DOH: 470 total new COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths reported

Mgn 1280x960 00325c00 AvgoaPIERRE, S.D. — The South Dakota Department of Health’s daily COVID-19 update showed 346 new confirmed cases in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 124,300.

Ten new deaths were reported, bringing the state death toll to 2,125.

130 confirmed cases were reported West River, including 72 in Pennington County, 15 in Lawrence County, 13 in Meade County, 9 in Butte County, six in Custer, and five in Fall River.

37 probable cases were reported West River, 25 of which were in Pennington County.

In South Dakota, 7,704 cases are considered active, that number is down from 7,725 on Thursday.

An additional 481 people have recovered from the virus, which puts the total number of recoveries at 132,971.
