SD DOH: 366 total new COVID-19 cases, 15 deaths statewide

Mgn 1280x960 00325c00 AvgoaPIERRE, S.D. — The South Dakota Department of Health’s daily COVID-19 update showed 287 new confirmed cases in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 126,679.

15 new deaths were reported, putting the state death toll at 2,160.

124 confirmed cases were reported West River: 42 in Pennington County, 14 in Lawrence County, 11 in Meade County, 10 in Dewey County, nine each in Custer and Todd Counties, six in Oglala Lakota County, four each in Butte, Fall River, and Gregory Counties, three in Perkins County, two each in Corson, Lyman, and Jackson Counties, and one each in Haakon and Mellette Counties.

23 probable cases were reported West River: 20 in Pennington County and one each in Perkins, Haakon, and Custer Counties.

In South Dakota, 7,215 cases are considered active, that number is down from 7,325 on Friday.

An additional 460 people have recovered from the virus, which puts the total number of recoveries at 136,464.
