SD DOH: 32 new COVID-19 cases statewide, 13 West River

 

PIERRE, S.D. — On Monday, the South Dakota Department of Health reported 22 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 95,865.

10 of the 32 total cases are considered as new probable cases.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the state death toll at 1,705.

13 confirmed cases were reported West River: seven in Pennington County, two in Lawrence County and one each on Butte, Gregory, Meade and Oglala Lakota Counties.

No new probable cases were reported West River.

In South Dakota, 3,678 cases are considered active, that number is down from 4,005 on Sunday. An additional 359 people have recovered from the virus, which puts the total number of recoveries at 101,797.

161 people are currently hospitalized, with a total of 6,201 people have ever been hospitalized.
