Saturday pond skim and costume contest; Last weekend to ski Terry Peak
LEAD, S.D. – As spring approaches and the temperatures increase, that means that we must say goodbye to this year’s skiing season at Terry Peak Ski Area. Before the season ends on Sunday, April 3, Terry Peak is planning their 2nd annual Wild Bill & Calamity’s Wacky-Western Pond Skim, on Saturday, April 2.
Registration for the pond skim will be on the Stewart deck from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. You must be at least 13 years old to participate. In order to participate, 13-17 year old’s must have parents or guardians sign a release form. There is no charge for the event.
After the pond skim, a costume contest is being held at 1:00 p.m. with the winners being selected by the audience. Finally, enjoy music from Sawdust Angles will play after the costume contest is over.
Last year, Terry Peak had over 100 people participate in the Wild and Wacky-Western Pond Skim.
