Rushmore Thunder boys stay undefeated with win over Huron

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rushmore Thunder opened a two-game series against the Huron All-Stars on Saturday in boys hockey.

The Thunder scored early and often and beat the All-Stars 10-1.

Kael Delzer led Rushmore with two goals and three assists. Plus Mason Martin added two goals and two assists the Thunder.

Along with Delzer and Martin, six more players found the back of the net for the Thunder including Seth Stock, Dawson Wirth, Tyson Dunbar, Nathan Bender, Miles Retzer and Hunter Walla.

Brady DeVries stopped 16 out of 17 shots for the Thunder.

Rushmore now improves to 5-0 on the season.

The Thunder will face Huron again on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Rushmore Thunder Dome.
