Rush Snap Three Game Losing Skid: Five Players Suspended
The Rapid City Rush snapped a three game losing streak Saturday night with a 4-3 win over the Tulsa Oilers.
However, the game ended with several fights taking place all over the ice.
In fact, 226 penalty minutes were assessed in the game.
League officials announced Sunday that Rapid City’s Garrett Clark and Jonathan Narbonne have each been suspended for five games for leaving the bench to join an altercation.
In addition, Tulsa’s Mathieu Gagnon has been suspended for eight games, Kevin Carr has been suspended for three games and Emerson Clark has been suspended for one game.
Each of the players have also been fined an undisclosed amount and both the Rush and the Oilers organizations have been fined as well.
