Rush remains undefeated at home

RAPID CITY, S.D. – After taking five of six points on the road last weekend against the Idaho Steelheads, the Rapid City Rush returned home on Friday night for a two-game series against the Utah Grizzlies.

Then 40 seconds into overtime, Peter Quenneville scored his 12th goal of the season to lead the Rush past the Grizzlies, 5-4.

The win sets a new franchise record for the Rush with nine consecutive victories at home.

Plus, the Rush remain the only undefeated team in the ECHL.

Rapid City will conclude the weekend series with a rematch against Utah on Saturday, Dec. 7.

The Rush will combine their annual “Hockey N Hope” Cancer Awareness Night with their annual “Teddy Bear Toss.”

The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m. at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
