Rush defeat Idaho for fourth straight win

RAPID CITY, S.D. – After sweeping the Wichita Thunder last weekend, the Rapid City Rush returned home on Friday for the start of a three-game series against the Idaho Steelheads.

Jake Wahlin scored two goals to help lead the Rush past the Steelheads, 5-2.

The Rush extended their winning streak to a season-high four games.

Brett Gravelle also finished with one goal and two assists for Rapid City.

Yauheni Aksiantsiuk scored both goals for Idaho.

Dillon Kelley made 32 saves on 34 shots for the Rush.

Rapid City improves to 18-14-3-2.

The Rush and the Steelheads will square off again on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. for Rodeo Night.

There will be a pre-game party starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Rushmore Hall.

The Rush will also be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.
