Roy’s Westside Auto Body gives back

Roy, the owner of Roy's Westside Auto Body, said he was inspired by other local businesses to pay it forward during the pandemic and is offering up to a $10,000 vehicle repair to someone in need.

Roy’s Westside Auto Body is taking opportunity, during a bit of a lull in business, to give a hand up to someone in the community.

Roy’s has been in business in Rapid City for 28 years and is saying thank you to the community by offering a vehicle repair to someone in need. Candidates are asked to email a photo of the vehicle and the background story behind the repair work needed. The person picked will get up to $10,000 in repairs.

Roy Mclaws, the owner, said he was inspired by other local businesses to pay it forward, saying, “We just started thinking of what we could do in our business to show Rapid City that we are involved in COVID-19 and we care and we are also willing to put something out on the line.”
