Rosebud Police: Missing 14-year-old found safe

ROSEBUD S.D. – Rosebud Tribal Police are searching for a missing 14-year-old.

7:30 p.m. TUESDAY: According to the Rosebud Sioux Police, 14-year-old Kimimila Geliga has been found.

No other details were immediately available from authorities.



According to the Rosebud Sioux Police on Facebook, 14-year-old Kimimila Geliga is from Lincoln, Neb, and was last seen around 2:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon in Lincoln. Police believe she’s on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation.

According to Cpt. Jake Dilsaver with the Lincoln Police Department, Kimimila is 5 ft. 2 in. and weighs around 110 lbs. She has brown hair and green eyes. Cpt. Dilsaver also said she sometimes wears glasses.

She was last seen in Lincoln wearing a greay sweatshirt, black leggings, and a black winter coat. Police also say may be trying to communicate with family on the reservation.
