Rollover closes Wyoming interstate, life flight called

PLATTE COUNTY, Wyo. — A single-vehicle crash closed down a section of Wyoming’s Interstate 25 Sunday morning.

Wyoming Highway Patrol and Platte County Sheriff’s office responded to the crash just off of exit 87. At about 8:45 the driver of a pickup truck over corrected when the truck left the roadway, causing the truck and camper it was pulling to flip and roll over.

The driver and passenger of the pickup received minor injuries in the crash. When authorities learned of a medication the driver was taking, life flight was called to transport them to the hospital as a precaution. The passenger was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Northbound traffic was blocked for 30 minutes as crews worked to clean up the crash.
