Retailers Association seeks nominations for business awards

Shop LocalPIERRE, S.D. — The South Dakota Retailers Association is asking South Dakotans to submit nominations for the Retailer of the Year, Restaurant of the Year and Community Service awards.

Anyone who believes businesses like grocery shops or restaurants deserving of recognition can submit their nominations here.

“South Dakota business owners are the heartbeat of our local communities,” said Executive Director Nathan Sanderson. “These awards are our way of saying ‘thank you’ to those who make our state a great place to live, work, and raise a family.”

The Retailers Association wants to know what makes them stand out, if they have done something above and beyond during the year, what continues to draw people in year after year and who is the best at what they do.

People can nominate more than one business, and nominations will be accepted through August 26.
