Regional Health set to become Monument Health, join Mayo Clinic Care Network

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Regional Health Rapid City is poised to become Monument Health Friday, two months after the announcement to re-brand and join the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

On Thursday, Regional Health’s signage came down and replaced with the new name and five-diamond M-shaped logo.

“The Monument Health name is less generic and better reflects the health system that includes 5 hospitals, 8 specialty and surgical centers and more than 40 medical clinics and health care service centers,” said a press release.

Officials from the nonprofit health care system says the most immediate change to be noticed by the public will be a change in signage. The website,, will automatically forward to the new web address.

In addition to the visual changes, the joining of the Mayo Clinic Care Network will also take place Friday. The connection will allow Monument Health doctors to share research and resources when applicable to patients.

“A lot of work has been going on behind the scenes as we prepare to make this exciting update to our health care system,” said Paulette Davidson, Monument Health President and CEO. “We look forward to beginning this transition.”
