Regional Health Rapid City hosts Easter egg hunt

For employees and their families

RAPID CITY, S.D. — On Saturday for Easter weekend Regional Health Rapid City Hospital hosted an Easter egg hunt for employees and their families. Kids of all ages gathered to collect eggs and take pictures with the infamous easter bunny.

Over 6,000 eggs were spread across the football field at Saint Thomas More High School. The playing field was split into different age ranges, so each child would have an opportunity to collect eggs. Some eggs held prizes and other contained candy

Four lucky winners from each age group found a golden egg and were awarded the larger prizes.

“Inside the golden eggs there are tickets, so they can either win a bike from Strider or Watiki water park passes or a huge stuffed animal,” said Billi Engelmann with Regional Health public relations.

Just a little over 100 people attended the event and Regional Health hopes to make it a tradition.
