RCPD seeking two male suspects in connection with convenience store robbery

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying two men who robbed a convenience store on Sunday night.

On November 29th at around 10:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Mount Rushmore Road for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. On arrival, police made contact with an employee of the business.

The employee told police he was working at the location when two unknown males wearing masks ran into the store. One of the masked subjects demanded money and threatened the employee with a metal bar. The employee complied, and both males fled from the location to the west on foot.
