RCPD seeking information on Monday morning robbery

RAPID CITY, S.D. — On December 14  around 5:50 a.m., police responded to a business on West Omaha Street for a report of a robbery.

Police made contact with an employee who told police that two unknown subjects, a male and a female, had entered the store. At one point, the female brandished what the employee described as a handgun concealed in a bag and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the male subject grabbed items from behind the counter before both suspects fled the store.

The female is described by witnesses as Native American, wearing a brown/maroon jacket, dark sweatpants, a scarf, a floral printed mask, and dark brown sunglasses. The male is described by witnesses as Native American in his late teens to early twenties, wearing a blue mask, gray jacket, jeans, and a gray beanie.
