RCPD responds to shots fired on 1700 block of N Maple Avenue

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Police have responded to a report of shots fired at an apartment complex in Rapid City.

According to Captain James Johns of the RCPD, around 5:00 a.m. Thursday morning, officers arrived at the 1700 block of North Maple Avenue to the sound of gunfire still underway.

No injuries have been reported and authorities are currently working to locate the suspects.
