RCPD in search of 14-year-old for questioning involving shooting

UPDATE (5:34 p.m.) – The Rapid City/Pennington County Special Response team is on scene at a residence on Crescent Drive after learning from a tip that Morrison is inside the residence.


RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City Police Department is asking the public for their help in locating 14-year-old Loyalty Morrison.

He is wanted for questioning in relation to a shooting that took place in the early morning hours of July 31st on Hemlock Street.

The police have reason to believe that he could be armed and should not be approached. If you see or encounter him, call the police dispatch at 1-605-394-4131. An anonymous tip can also be submitted by texting the letters RCPD along with the information to 847-411.
