UPDATE: Assault suspect taken into custody
UPDATE: (10:42 p.m.) Vanosdel has been located and taken into custody.
RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office are currently searching for 31-year-old Drew Vanosdel.
Vanosdel is a wanted suspect of a violent assault early Saturday. He was last seen in the area of E. New York Street and Lacrosse Street recently.
He is considered dangerous and possibly armed. Vanosdel is also known to be mentally unstable, and may be under the influence of methamphetamine.
Vanosdel was last seen wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, and white shoes, and he currently has shoulder-length hair with the sides shaved short.
