RC Stevens girls advance to state tournament with win over Huron; Check out 8 photos and highlights

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Stevens Raiders are heading back to the State ‘AA’ girls basketball tournament for the 10th year in a row.

The Raiders defeated the Huron Tigers on Friday in the Class ‘AA’ SoDak 16 by a final score of 62-48.

Isabell Higgins finished with a double-double for Stevens, 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Plus Macey Wathen scored 14 points and Hailey Oswald added 10 points for Stevens.

The State ‘AA’ girls basketball tournament tips off on Thursday, March 9 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.

Stevens, who is the No. 7 seed with a 14-7 record, will battle No. 2 Pierre in the first round on Thursday at 5 p.m.
