RC Stevens captures fourth straight Region 4A wrestling title
RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens has been a one of the top wrestling teams in the state all season long and they proved it on Saturday.
The Raiders captured the Region 4A title for the fourth year in a row.
Stevens finished with 271 points followed by Sturgis with 240 and Rapid City Central with 181.
The Raiders also qualified all 14 wrestlers to the Class A State Wrestling Tournament Feb. 25-27 at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City.
Meanwhile, Sturgis qualified 13 wrestlers and Rapid City Central will be sending 11 grapplers to the state tournament.
