RC man pleads guilty in police standoff

RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Rapid City Man accused of firing 42 shots out of his home during a New Year’s Day standoff with police pleads guilty, but mentally ill.

Jordan Wounded Face pleaded to aggravated assault on an officer with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm at a motor vehicle.

He could get up to 80 years in prison and/or a $160,000 fine. Wounded Face will be sentenced in April.
