Rapid City woman killed in Wyoming rollover

CHUGWATER, Wyo. – A Rapid City woman was killed in a Wyoming crash Tuesday morning.

Mariah Handley, 38, was a passenger in a truck that wrecked on Interstate 25, about 3 miles outside Chugwater.

According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Handley and others were headed to Rapid City when the truck lost traction on the icy surface. The truck left the road and rolled three times.

Handley was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected. Other occupants were treated for minor injuries at Platte County Memorial Hospital.

I-25 was closed for four hours due to the investigation and poor road conditions.
