Rapid City VA location to bring veterans advanced healthcare in 2023

The day for veterans in Rapid City to be able to access healthcare at the Catron Boulevard location is approaching.

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The day for veterans in Rapid City to be able to access healthcare at the Catron Boulevard location is approaching.

As early as next April, veterans will be able to access the healthcare they need at that location.

The 50,000 square foot facility will be part of a 40-acre development that’ll also include a Monument Health skilled nursing facility, that’s also set to open in 2023.

Located off Promise Road, near the intersection of Catron Boulevard and Mount Rushmore Road, the VA facility will provide new state of the art health services to veterans in our area.

Dream Design International is working on the project. The company’s President, Hani Shafai, says that they’ve worked through supply chain and cost issues by ordering ahead of time and planning for the increases.

“We were able to really include those into our projections, so it helped us overcome some of those challenges,” Shafai said.

Shafai says that further development is also coming to the area, like restaurants and other businesses. He says that the company is honored to be apart of bringing the building and resources for veterans to Rapid City.
