Rapid City Umpire Selected to Call Little League World Series

Although the Canyon Lake All-Stars came up short in their bid to make it to the Little League World Series, Rapid City will still be represented at Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Judd Thompson of Rapid City is one of 16 umpires selected to work the Little League World Series this year.

Thompson was selected based on his performance at one of the regional tournaments.

An umpire is only allowed to work at the World Series once every four years.
