Rapid City Stevens soccer standout taking her talents to Southwestern College

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Another soccer player from Rapid City Stevens is getting a chance to take her talents to the next level.

Bryanna Kuhn recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play women’s soccer next year at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.

Last season, Kuhn helped Stevens claim the number four seed in the State ‘AA’ playoffs with a record of 8-1-2.

The midfielder was a also a member of the Stevens soccer team that finished runner-up to Pierre in the 2018 state finals.

Kuhn plans to major in biology and then go on to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon.

Kuhn is excited about playing soccer at the collegiate level.

“Well it was really late in the year and the virus had started in and I didn’t really have any where to visit at that point,” Bryanna Kuhn said. “They reached out to me and then we did a virtual tour together and I ended up really liking the college and the size of it. I thought it was a good fit for me.”
