Rapid City starts decorating for the holiday season

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The City of Rapid City is working on getting the Christmas decorations up at the local parks and in the downtown area.

Although some may think it’s a little early, the city says they want to be prepared for unpredictable weather; plus, it brings in the holiday cheer.

This year you might notice some new decorations like candy canes and snowflakes.

You can catch Newscenter1 live at the Main Street Square tree lighting on Saturday, November 30th.
