Rapid City Rush “Military Appreciation Weekend” coming up!

RAPID CITY, S.D. – It’s “Military Appreciation Weekend” and the Rush are pulling out all the stops to show the men and women who serve our country how much they appreciate everything they do for us.

“It’s just our small way to thank the brave men and women of the United States for their dedication their service and sacrifice to protecting the freedoms and liberties that we all get to enjoy every day as american citizens and so with this being military appreciation month and our schedule playing out as late as it did, it just made sense to have our annual weekend come out this month,” says Mark Binetti, Senior Director of Communications for the Rapid City Rush.

Thursday morning on NewsCenter1 Today, Binetti unveiled this year’s official “Military Appreciation Weekend” jersey that the players will wear as they take on the Indy Fuel. “You can say it’s quite a “bomb” design if you will. The B-1 is on it, along a couple other tactical designs as well. The jerseys are brought to you by Ebelution Heating & Cooling. They’re the sponsor of Saturday’s game. Friday’s game presented in partnership with the South Dakota Army National Guard too so they’re gonna wear the jersey for both games this weekend and then they will be auctioned after the game Saturday night,” added Binetti.

Active duty military and veterans can buy tickets for both games for $15 each at the Rush Office. Click here for a link to that.

The Rapid City Rush will take on the Indy Fuel Friday and Saturday night at The Monument, formerly The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
