Rapid City Rush dominates the Allen Americans

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Rush bounced back from a tough loss earlier this week to beat the Allen Americans on Friday, 6 to 1.

Allen opened the scoring in the first period with a power play goal by Spencer Asuchak.

But the Rush scored six unanswered goal in the final two periods.

Lukas Parik made 33 saves for the Rapid City.

Meanwhile, Logan Nelson scored two goals to help lead the Rush.

Rapid City improves to 4-5-1-1 on the season while Allen falls to 3-6-2.

The Rush will wrap up a three-game series against the Americans on Saturday at the Monument Ice Arena.

It’s Dances with Wolves night honoring Native American Heritage.

The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m.
