RAPID CITY, S.D. — Authorities are currently searching for three suspects who fled the scene of a crash on Oak Avenue and Lynnwood Drive.

The Rapid City Police Department says the suspect vehicle is a white Chevy Malibu Maxx that was originally seen driving at a high rate of speed north on Cambell Street in the area of Fairmont Boulevard.

After the vehicle crashed, the RCPD says two males and a female fled the scene on foot to the north. They’ve asked that anyone with information about the whereabouts or identities of the suspects contact them at 605-394-4131.

This is one of two hit and run crashes to happen in Rapid City within the past hour — with the other involving multiple impacted cars on Omaha Street.
