Rapid City police ask for public’s help in search for missing teens

UPDATE (9:14 p.m.) — RCPD has reported that the missing girls have been found safe. They appreciate all of the information they received from the public in their efforts to locate them.

UPDATE (8:41 p.m.) — RCPD says the girls were last seen on the east side of town near Highway 44. They could not give any more information at this time.

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City Police Department has asked for the public’s help in searching for two missing 12-year-old girls.

Kadiee and Ruth Walking Eagle, both age 12, have been reported missing this evening.

Kadiee Walking Eagle is 5’4” 140 lbs., last seen wearing light colored pants.

Ruth Walking Eagle is 5’3” and 150 lbs., last seen wearing a black Champion sweatshirt.

With the winter weather approaching, the RCPD has made locating the girls a top priority.

Anyone with any information about their whereabouts is urged to contact police at 394-4131.
