Rapid City Parks opening restrooms for season

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Rapid City parks are getting ready for the spring season.

With consistent warmer weather on the way comes more people using the parks, and with that comes the opening of some restroom facilities.

The facilities were closed up in October with the exception of Founders Park and Canyon Lake West.

Facilities at Sioux Park, Vickie Powers Park, and the Parkview tennis courts will open for use on Friday.

All remaining facilities in the park system will open April 29.
