Rapid City now in the line of severe weather

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Rapid City is now in the line of severe weather as a strong storm moves quickly over the area.

Pea sized hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph are expected to hit shortly.

Lighting is also a factor. Torrential rain and flooding may also be possible.

Residents should get indoors now and take precautions to protect pets and property. Do not attempt to drive through flooded roadways.
