Rapid City Menards begins holiday toy drive

It’s getting to be that season and Menards is getting in the spirit.

Menards stores across the region have begun collecting toys for children in each store’s area.

There’s a collection box near the exit door where shoppers can drop off new, unwrapped toys.

Here in Rapid City, store manager Mark Kerr said they’re off to a roaring good start.

“You know, we gave all the gifts to Youth and Family Services last year also, and I think they said we were their biggest supporter,” said Kerr. “We do very well. We started Friday and we filled [the big crate up front] twice this weekend.

“So it’s got off to a good start.”

Menards will be collecting toys through the end of November.
