Rapid City man sentenced to eight years in drug trafficking conspiracy

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Patrick Greenfield, 32, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison after pleading guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance.

In a news release from the United State’s Attorney’s Office, Greenfield was responsible for distributing between 1.5 and five kilograms of methamphetamine in western South Dakota. Greenfield was also sentenced to four years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.

Others charged in the conspiracy have already been sentenced, while others have trial dates pending. For more information on previous sentences, click here.
