Rapid City man pleads not guilty to string of Black Hills robberies

RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Rapid City man has plead not guilty to federal charges in connection with a string of robberies in the Black Hills.

58-year-old Michael Daker is accused of forcibly robbing convenience stores in Rapid City and Spearfish, and a motel and casino in Rapid City.

If convicted, Daker would face up to 20-years in prison on each count and or a $250,000 fine.
