Rapid City man accused of starting dumpster fire pleads not guilty

RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Rapid City man, accused of starting a dumpster fire on Monument Health property, made a court appearance on Wednesday.

Raymond Andrzejewski pleaded not guilty by way of television from the Pennington County Jail. The charge was intentional damage to public property in the second degree.

He is also charged in relation to several other fires that occurred over the span of a weekend in December of last year in the area of Mount Rushmore Road and West Boulevard.

The next hearing is scheduled for next week.
