Rapid City inmate placed on escape status
RAPID CITY, S.D.- Minimum-security inmate Nathaniel Buckley has been placed on escape status after leaving his community service jobsite in Rapid City Thursday.
Buckley is described by the South Dakota Department of Corrections as a 28-year old Native American. He is 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Buckley is currently serving a sentence for fourth-offense DUI from Meade County. Failure to return from assignment constitutes second-degree escape, a Class 5 felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
