Rapid City farm hosts an egg-cellent series of holiday festivities
RAPID CITY, S.D. — The inaugural Carroll Acres Spring Fling Eggstravaganza brought spring fun to all ages ahead of the Easter holiday.
Things kicked off Friday, April 8 with a glow-in-the-dark party as kids waited until nightfall for an egg hunt in the dark. Then followed Saturday’s 21+ booze hunt, letting adults get in on the festivities.
On April 10, despite windy weather and a sprinkle of rain, kids came out for a dance party and a basket full of treats.
“I think we did a pretty good job, everybody that helped and my family. But next year, I can’t wait,” Owner and Operator of Carroll Acres Hobby Farm JoAnne Parks said. “I know we made some good customers, and they’ll be back. We’re just always out to improve and make it fun and affordable.”
Carroll Acres doesn’t have anything scheduled for Easter weekend, but will have more fun events through the year.
