Rapid City employees predict future Super Bowl winner

Who do you think will win Super Bowl LVI?

RAPID CITY, S.D. — We are days away from watching confetti fall from the sky and enjoy our favorite commercials from Super Bowl LVI.

Of course, the big question is who will come away hoisting that Lombardi Trophy.

Whether you’ve been watching intently throughout the NFL season or you only watch the Super Bowl for commercials, the time to crown a new NFL champion is almost here.

To help with stirring up excitement, Rapid City sent an e-mail posing that question of who will win the “big game” to its employees. They left it an open-ended question at that; not just the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals; people could put down whatever they wanted.

About half of respondents picked the Rams,  42% picked Cincinnati. Someone even chose the Brooklyn Nets, who play basketball.

As far as the score, 76% predict it will be a close game within 10 points, while 18% saying it will be a blowout. Two-percent predict overtime.

Meanwhile, at her news conference today, Governor Kristi Noem picked the Rams.

The survey issued to employees can be viewed below:
