UPDATE: Crews restore water service after Thursday morning line break

UPDATE (12:17 p.m. – 12/22/22): Crews have completed repairs and water service has been restored to residences and facilities in the affected area of Thursday morning’s water line break.

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Rapid City utility and maintenance crews are responding to a water line break Thursday in the 300 block of E. Philadelphia Street.

Water service is impacted to approximately 30 residences, a church and an apartment building in the affected area.

Officials estimate repairs to be completed by Thursday afternoon, and there are no traffic impacts at the present time.
