Rapid City and Sturgis hold their final Cracker Barrels

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Monday is the final day for South Dakota bills and resolutions to pass, so the City of Rapid City and the City of Sturgis both held one final Cracker Barrel for the season.

The floor was open for the public to voice questions and concerns to state legislators. At this point many questions centered around decisions that have already been made. Citizens were asking legislators why they voted for or against specific bills. Saturday morning at the Rapid City Cracker Barrel, some of the topics discussed were technical education, work force development, and Medicaid.

Hot topics throughout the past few weeks have been LGBTQ rights, reproductive rights, and motor safety.
