Rachetto, Young lead SDGA Amateur Championship

RAPID CITY, S.D. – In 1971, Arrowhead Country Club in Rapid City hosted the very first South Dakota Golf Association Amateur Championship.

Fifty years later, the tournament has returned to Arrowhead.

The SDGA Men’s and Women’s Amateur Championship teed off Friday morning featuring nearly 120 golfers

from across the state.

Tyler Rachetto from Rapid City carded 3-under-par 68 and is tied with Ryan Jansa from Sioux Falls for the lead in the men’s division.

Meanwhile, Natalie Young from Rapid City shot a one-over-par 72 to lead the women’s division.
