Press Start donates canned food and money to South Dakota Food Drive

RAPID CITY, S.D. — One of downtown Rapid City’s most popular spots the Press Start arcade offering unlimited gaming all day Sunday in exchange for a donation to their food drive.

Press Start was accepting either ten dollars worth of canned food or a ten dollar donation for the South Dakota Food Drive.

By donating, gamers got a wristband allowing them to play their favorites for the whole day.

“We actually love just giving back to the community we kind of just thrive to show ourselves off more to the community and we really are all good-hearted people here who really make a difference.” Said bartender and one of the organizers for the event, Ethan Linn. “504 Mount Rushmore road is where we are located, always trying to do awesome things so if you have great ideas come let us know because we are willing to do whatever here really.”

The goal for the fundraiser is to raise $1,000 Press Start staffers say they’re looking forward to doing more of these events in the future.
